Yes, it can happen because the current installer is not code-signed yet, so Windows SmartScreen or the browser may show an unknown publisher or suspicious file warning. Only continue if you downloaded the installer from your EntropiaControl account or the official download link. In Windows, click More info and then Run anyway. If the file came from another source or you are not sure, cancel and contact support.
In most cases it will be in your browser Downloads folder. Open the downloaded EntropiaControl setup file, complete the installation, and then launch EntropiaControl from Windows.
Open EntropiaControl before playing, confirm your license status, select the generic chat log path Documents/Entropia Universe/chat.log, check your weapon or preset setup, and press Play when you are ready to track a run.
Use the weapon preset area to save common weapon and amp setups. Save the current setup into slot 1, 2, or 3, then activate the preset you want before starting or continuing a run.
Use the Overlay button inside the app. The overlay is meant to show key run information while you play, so you can keep the main app open for deeper review and use the overlay for quick visibility.
