Privacy Policy

1. Privacy at a glance

Your gameplay records stay on your device. We use your email address to identify your account and connect it to the products you have access to. Payments are processed through Stripe Checkout.

2. Your data in the app

Your runs, equipment settings, loot and activity records, History, Analytics, maps and recorded positions are stored locally. The current application does not upload these records to EntropiaControl when signing in or checking a license.

3. Your EntropiaControl account

To register, you enter your email address, a password and confirmation of that password. Your email identifies your account and connects it to your products and licenses. We use it for account access, management and recovery.

The website may use browser storage to remember your language, keep you signed in and temporarily retain a pending purchase selection.

4. Passwords

EntropiaControl does not store your password and cannot view or recover it. The system keeps only a one-way cryptographic verifier that can check the password you enter without knowing the original password.

If you reset your password, you create a new one after the required verification. The system replaces the previous verifier; it does not retrieve or send you your old password.

Account recovery includes technical safeguards to limit repeated or abusive attempts.

5. Licenses

Your account records which products and add-ons you have and whether access is active. This access record is separate from your secret license code.

When you generate a code, it is shown to you so you can save it. EntropiaControl keeps what is needed to validate the code, rather than a recoverable copy of the secret itself. The portal and support cannot retrieve the original code later. Generating a replacement creates a new code and replaces the previous one.

When you activate a license, the system uses limited device information to check that the license activation rules are being followed.

6. Payments

Stripe Checkout processes payments on a Stripe-hosted page. EntropiaControl does not store credit or debit card numbers.

We send Stripe your account email and the order information needed for checkout. EntropiaControl keeps a record of the purchase, such as the product, amount, currency and payment status, so your account can receive the correct access.

7. Features that connect to the internet

Sign-in, account management, license and product access checks, and downloads require connections to online services. When you sign in, verify a license or download a product, only the information needed to complete that request is sent.

Some reference lookup tools send a search term or item identifier to an external service to obtain reference information. These queries do not send your complete gameplay history.

Finder Watch and Position Watch process screen regions locally. Their screen captures are not uploaded to EntropiaControl or an external image-processing service.

8. Support

If you contact support, we receive your message and any information or attachments you choose to include, so we can respond to your request. Please do not send passwords, secret license codes or card numbers.

9. Information not required for a normal account

Normal account registration does not ask for your real name, phone number, postal address or card number. A paid purchase is handled separately through Stripe Checkout.
